Confessions of Brownwood, Texas

I happened upon Brownwood, Texas, to visit my loved ones recently, and while visiting I snapped up a few quick photographs. Most of downtown Brownwood seems abandoned at first glance, but upon returning home and sharing these photographs with my parents I was told many stories of how these buildings once flourished! It goes to show you that the first impressions we take away with us aren’t always the most important and lasting impressions we should keep with us. For there is always a story to be told, and a lesson to be learned. We, much like these buildings, are forever on our own personal journey, forever standing the test of time, and forever growing.
